Next month the famous Tour de France bicycle race starts. What better way to celebrate than to make this Tour de France Sun Catcher. It’s a really simple craft, and even very little ones can get involved with the sticking. We also used it as an excuse to look and learn about the exciting race, winning the yellow jersey and the colours of the French flag.
Father’s Day is literally around corner, but don’t worry you still have time to sort something out. In my opinion, Homemade Father’s Day Cards and Gifts are the best. They have an extra special factor that you simply can not buy from the shop. So in the run up to Father’s Day I thought I would share with you a round up of some simple ideas for Homemade Father’s Day Cards and Gifts from my fellow bloggers.
Ahhhh! Father’s Day is creeping up on me again. Are you all organised? Or are you like me and leave everything to the last minute. Well don’t despair because we’ve used a little of our imagination and come up with this really simple Homemade Father’s Day Gift. A jar of essentials for Father’s Day, what more could any Daddy want? It’s so simple you can rustle it up in no time at all, using things that you probably have already lying around the house. I have also included a FREE download of the jar label and Daddy voucher to make this Homemade Father’s Day Gift even speedier to put together.
As you may know, we are proud memebers of the Bostik Blogger team. This month’s box of lovely crafty goodness had a mythical creatures theme. As soon as Oliver saw the contents, and the bright flame coloured pipe ceaners, he requested that I make a Pipe Cleaner Dragon for him.
When Oliver recently turned 5, I promised him an Outer Space room fit for any aspiring astronaut. As part of the transformation we got to try out some great products, and I also had an excuse to come up with some space themed crafts. The first of which is this DIY Space Rocket Desk Tidy made from old cardboard tubes.
We love subscription boxes, and we have been fortunate to review quite a few in the past. The most recent ones have been for the kids, but it’s always nice to be sent something just for me to indulge in. So I was particularly pleased when Crafty Creatives sent me one of their boxes which contained everything I needed to make a DIY Spring Wreath.
The sun is shining, and it finally feels like Summer is well on the way. This Simple Flower Artwork is a great little project you can do with your little ones, sure to make you feel cheerful and summery.
This is a simple tutorial of how to make Peacock Wedding Invitations from scratch. They are really easy to make, but have a really professional finish.
