We are now over half way through the Summer holidays, and I’m sure lots of mums like me are looking for activities that are a little bit different to entertain the kids. Well have you considered taking them to your local theatre? We were lucky enough to be invited to a performance of ‘Babe, The Sheep-Pig‘ the week before last at the Mercury theatre in the historic town of Colchester, Essex and it was fantastic.
We are extremely lucky to be able to spend alot of our time during the school holidays in North Norfolk. If you get to spend any time in this beautiful part of the country and are looking for a great family day out, then I would highly recommend this place. Located near Lenwade between Norwich and Fakenham, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure is a great fun filled day out and offers something for all the family.
Following on our guest post week, today we are featuring a more exotic location, Thailand. Somewhere I’ve always wanted to travel to, and well and truly on on my bucket list.
With the summer holidays just around the corner, I find my mind wandering and dreaming of exotic holiday locations. So, this week I am featuring several guest posts to wet your appetite and give you the travel bug. First is from Nicky, from Spinnin plates, with some amazing beaches to visit on the Greek island of Kefalonia.
During the Easter holidays we were lucky enough to spend a week in North Devon. Just around the corner from where we were staying was The Big Sheep. Sadly we were not blessed with nice weather whilst we were away, and on another overcast day with showers predicted we were looking for some family fun. Billed as an all weather family attraction we headed to The Big Sheep to investigate.
A Willow and Wild Box is a nature inspired monthly subscription box aimed at children aged 3-8 years old. I love my garden and being outside, and I am quite passionate about encouraging my kids to love it too, so the theme of these boxes really appealed to me.
In the coldest months of the year it’s really important to feed the birds in your garden. Wild birds benefit from all year round feeding, but it is particularly important in the winter. When it’s cold, birds need high fat food to give them plenty of energy and to help keep them warm. You can make your own fat balls for birds, and this post gives you step by step instructions on how to do it.
