10 Reasons Cabin Beds are Perfect for Children’s Bedrooms

If your children are anything like the mine, the more they grow the more ‘stuff’ they tend to accumulate.  I thought once we got rid of the high chairs, change tables and bulky bouncers I would have more space, but boy was I wrong. Instead they accumulate so many toys and books, and the older they get the bigger their toys get! They also seem to have great reluctance to get rid of anything from their younger years.

With this in mind, I am constantly on the look out for new ways to organise my children’s bedroom. The latest of which is we are considering purchasing cabin beds and here is why.

I honestly thought it might be easier second time round, but in truth it’s not. Harder even maybe.  My youngest, my little baby boy starts Primary School tomorrow. The next milestone reached seemingly so quickly, and mummy can’t quite keep up. I’m as emotional tonight, maybe more so, as I was this time last year with his big sister starting.

It’s that time of year again, the summer holiday is all but over. Lots of parents, including myself, have the unenviable task of labelling the new school uniform. But it needn’t be a headache! I discovered these fab iron on name labels last year from Dinkleboo, and I am going to be using them again this year. Easy to apply, last longer than the clothes they’re attached too, and the only decent labels I’ve found that allow you to include a phone number.
