Kids and Kreativity – 15th February 2019

Welcome back to the Kids and Kreativity linky party!  This is a linky for all your blog posts that encourage creativity or inspire imagination in children. They can be about anything from baking with kids, messy play ideas, childrens’ crafts, book reviews, days out, travel…. you name it! Anything that gets the creative juices flowing, or sparks kids’ wonderful imaginations can be linked up.

It’s been another whirlwind of a two weeks since the last linky, and I can’t belive we are about to start the half term holiday! Still we are looking forward to a few lazy mornings and having breakfast in our PJs.

We have spent a fair bit of time in the kitchen recently, and Oliver especially has been really keen to help, which I positively encourage despite the mess my kitchen ends up in!

What have you been up to in the last few weeks? I’d love to hear in the comments.

The Last #KidsandKreativity Linky

We had again a total of 15 posts linked up, which is really fab, I just hope it keeps up! It’s also great to welcome some more new people to the linky, I do hope you join us again! I have to say this time as well the quality of the posts were really good, and there were some great ideas, inspiration, tips and advice. I really enjoyed reading them all.

The commenting was pretty good. Commenting and sharing posts is what this linky is about, not just promoting your own posts. So all I ask is that you are fair.

As a reminder, the minimum commenting is still one of the host posts and two other posts of your choosing per post you link up. That’s 3 comments minimum per post linked up. Don’t forget though you can comment on more if you wish, and extra commenting and sharing is positively encouraged!

And Don’t forget if you link up towards the beginning of the linky, pop back the second week otherwise you miss all the fantastic posts that link up towards the end!

My first featured post is from our top commenter Dirt, Diggers and Dinosaurs who shared a post all about their home town and How they became local legends in Leek. She is always so generous with her commenting and sharing, doing way above the minimum, so please return the favour and pop over and give her post some love.

The second post I am sharing is my favourite and from Our Amanahs Our Futures, and is Easy Peasy Kaleidoscopes. It bought back lots of fond memories of my childhood, and reminded me that I need to introduce kaleidoscopes to my children. This method is super simple, so accessible to everyone.

This Week’s #KidsandKreativity Linky

This time I am sharing my recipe to make Raspberry and Coconut Marshmallow Hearts, which is one of mine and Oliver’s kitchen creations. Inspired by Valentine’s Day, but can be enjoyed all year round. Making your own marshmallows from scratch is lots of fun, if not a bit sticky!

The second post I am sharing this time is a round up post of Family Activities to do in February. Hopefully it will give you lots of inspiration and ideas for half term activities whatever the weather.

Don’t forget to join me over on the Facebook group. Admittedly I have been a bit quiet over there, but I have big plans for the group, and hopefully we can help and support each other.

I am also pinning all the posts from the linky to my #KidsandKreativity board on Pinterest, and I often pin from that board to my other boards. I have over 800K monthly unique viewers on Pinterest, so make sure your posts have lovely eye catching vertical pins in them to get maximum exposure.

For all those linking up for the first time, have a read through the linky information and rules, but if you have any questions just message me.

Linky Information

The linky will open every other Friday at 10.00 am, and stay open for 10 days.

Please, please, please make sure you finish your commenting by 7pm on the second Thursday and make sure you add the #KidsandKreativity to your comments. This helps me keep track of the comments, and make sure everyone is doing the minimum amount of commenting. Please DO NOT link up and run, it’s not fair on others, and is not what this linky is about.

This linky party is all about creating a nice community of like minded bloggers, and increasing exposure to blog posts that might inspire people. So feel free to comment away and share posts that you love. The more that you put into the linky, the more that you will get out.

So come and be part of the #KidsandKreativity community and link up your creative and inspiring posts. Come and check out the Pinterest board and join the Facebook group and get involved. Make sure you grab the badge below, have a quick look at the rules, and get linking!
