Who doesn’t love a panto? The great British tradition of attending a pantomime during the Christmas season is now one of our family’s festive must-dos. We were lucky enough to be invited to the Mercury theatre in the historic town of Colchester, Essex last week to watch their production of Jack and the Beanstalk, and it was fantastic!View Post
Gingerbread cookies are such a lovely seasonal treat, and these Reindeer Gingerbread Men Cookies are a great festive take on the classic. Using a traditional gingerbread recipe and gingerbread man biscuit cutter, that most well versed bakers have to hand this season, these Reindeer Gingerbread Men Cookies are such fun to make and (almost) too cute to eat.
It’s always nice to give something homemade at Christmas, and who doesn’t like receiving a little sweet treat? Here are 5 Edible Christmas Gifts for you to make on your own, or with the kids for an extra special Christmas present.
Welcome back to the Kids and Kreativity linky party! This is a linky for all your blog posts that encourage creativity or inspire imagination in children. Anything that gets the creative juices flowing, or sparks kids’ wonderful imaginations can be linked up.

These cute little pine cone reindeer decorations are a perfect craft for adults or children a like. They can be hung on twine to make little pine cone reindeer bunting, or adorn a Christmas tree like I have done. Either way they look very effective, and are super simple to make with minimal materials.
Last year was the first year we did Elf on the Shelf. If I’m honest me and the Mr had a lot of fun doing it! Almost as much as the kids enjoyed finding their elf ‘Buddy’ each morning to see what he had been up to. With the start of Advent this weekend I have been looking at Buddy’s sheenagins last year, and thought I would share them with you. Hopefully it will give you some Elf on the Shelf ideas and inspiration and a litle chuckle too.
