Puffy paint art projects are great fun for kids to do. The puffiness adds interest for little ones, a three dimensional element to art projects, and can also be a sensory activity as well as a creative one.
You can buy ready made puffy paint for a variety of different media, or you can make your own. The simpliest way is by mixing shaving foam and PVA glue and adding optional extras such as food colourings and glitter. However there are many other different recipes for homemade puffy paint, including those that puff up after being microwaved or even edible versions!

I’ve never tried making or using puffy paint with the children but it’s something that they would love. Love all the different ideas for ways of using it. It’s definitely something that we will have to try at some point. #KidsandKreativity
