How many of us moan about not having enough time in the day? I know I do! If you could palm something off, what would it be? For me it would definitely be cleaning the house. I’m sure I am not the only mum that feels like that, and Bidvine may just have the answer.
If I’m honest I actually don’t mind cleaning, but what I do mind is the fact that it encroaches on our family time together. Come September when both kids will be at school, I will be increasing my working hours. That combined with blogging in the evenings means very little time for housework other than at the weekends. I would much rather be spending time with the kids and not cleaning the house! Fortunately the extra working hours means we will be in a privileged position of getting a cleaner to help out for a few hours a week.
Bidvine is a UK-based local services matching website and an easy way to find local professionals. Anything from domestic cleaners to a local handyman, plumber, dog walker even DJ! Whoever you are looking for Bidvine can help. I wish I had known about the service when we were renovating our house, it would have saved a lot of time and effort!
The website is very user friendly and simple to use. You can even download the app which means you can also use the service when you’re out and about.
You simply type in the professional service you are looking for. It then asks you a series of specific questions so that they can put you in touch with the right professional. So for example, I was looking for a local cleaner, and was asked how many bedroom and bathrooms the house has, how often I wanted it cleaned from a one-off to every week, which days and times were convenient for me and even if I had pets and would prefer eco products! Once you’ve completed the questions and created your account that’s it.
Your request is then sent to local professionals who then send you bids for the job within hours. You can then choose to accept or decline the bid with no obligation to accept. What I liked in particular is that only local professionals that actually CAN and WANT to do the job contact you through Bidvine.
So what do you think? Would you find a service like Bidvine useful? I will certainly be making more use of it in the future.
