It didn’t disappoint! Our family Bushcraft day was amazing. We were really fortunate with the weather, and the sun actually shone! It was so lovely to spend the whole day outside as a family and everyone was so relaxed. A great fun, but relaxing family day out.
I’m excited, we all are excited! Not only because it’s the weekend, but also because tomorrow we are going on a family bushcraft day with Camp Wilderness. So tonight we are getting our stuff ready for the outdoor adventures we are going to have tomorrow.
This year, for their 4th Blog ambassador programme, Mark Warner Holidays have asked us willing entrants what our top ten travel must haves are. Like most mums, my absolute holiday essential is to make sure my kids are happy, so we thought we would hand the task over to them.
For her 5th birthday party the other week, Isla requested a My Little Pony rainbow cake. Always up for a challenge, I obliged and tried my best. I decided to carry on the rainbow theme for some of the party food and created rainbow cupcakes, cake pops and rainbow coloured fruit skewers to balance all the cakes on offer!
I was asked to take part in the Christmas Stocking Blogger Challenge in conjunction with Turtle Mat, and of course I said yes. Christmas and crafting with a competition too! I’m really pleased with our finished stocking, read on to find out how we got on!
Arty Apple specialise in bespoke personalised gifts and nursery décor. When Amy at Arty Apple approached me to ask if I would be interested in reviewing one of her products, I jumped at the chance! I was torn between the beautiful bunting for the kids bedrooms, or the personalised aprons. I decided on the aprons as we love to bake as a family and I think I made a pretty good choice, read on to see what we thought!
Oliver has been feeling a bit lost since his big sister started school, so we planned a family day out with him in mind. He loves his toy diggers and trucks, so what better way to spend the day than visit Diggerland to see and play on the real things!
This year we decided to have a little Halloween party for the kids and a few of their friends. It was a good excuse to get dressed up, and gave purpose to some of our Halloween crafts we’ve been doing and of course a good excuse for me to bake some Halloween goodies. Want to know what we got up to?
