We had a family day out at Legoland, Windsor a few weeks ago. The kids were really looking forward to it (as were we!) and typically the good old British weather quite literally rained on our plans. However we weren’t about to let a little bit of rain ruin our Legoland fun.
Clarabelle, our little second hand caravan, had her first outing of the year to a lovely spot in North Norfolk. We were lucky enough to go for just over a week in August, and the kids loved our little caravan adventure.
When you have children there are so many milestones, weaning, their first steps, their first words, potty training, sleeping through the night! to name but a few. However nothing quite prepared me for my eldest, Isla, starting school. The end of an era, a pivotal moment in her childhood, has proved to be an emotional time.
Tomorrow is a massive milestone for my daughter, her first day at school! I felt I needed to write this, more for me than her, but hopefully she can look back at this and realise how much I love her, and how proud I am of her…
As a mum of 2 young children, it’s easy to put yourself way down the list of priorities, and never allow yourself anytime for pampering. When I discovered Jamberry nail wraps, I was intrigued but felt I would never have time to do my nails! Now i’m hooked, and it’s so lovely to have nice nails that I get complimented on all the time. It’s nice to feel girly again, and dare I say it a little bit more polished. If you want to know more, read on…..
During a recent holiday to North Norfolk, we enjoyed a lovely family day out at BeWILDerwood. We have been every year for the last 4 years, but it never gets old, the big kid in me loves it there!
This is a very simple how to. This ribbon hair band can be made with only a few tools, and all the necessary materials are easily obtainable at your local haberdashery or fabric shop. It made my little princess very happy!
When the lovely people at BakerDays contacted me and asked if I would be interested in reviewing one of their letterbox cakes I jumped at the chance. It was my dad’s 70th birthday coming up and we were going away for the weekend as a surprise so making and then transporting a cake was out of the question. This was the perfect answer.
